Dancing Babies!

Oh. My. Goodness.
I just saw the cutest thing!

One of my little gouldian juveniles, Finley, is very clearly male, as he's decided he's a lean, mean finchey dancing machine!
He thinks his dad is a fine specimen, as he keeps following him around, doing his silly head waggle and hoppy dance!

I saw him doing it once the other day. But today, he's just non-stop!
I got the cutest video; uploading now. So funny!

@Lovezebs - are any of your guys dancing yet?

Finley is the one whom I suspected may be male as he fledged with a yellow belly.
Pickle fledged with a white belly, so I'm thinking female?
Holden has a tinge of yellow on his/her belly, so not sure. Probably male?

I guess we'll see! I was delighted by this, as I was thinking I wouldn't really know gender until around 6 months when they're colored up.
I'm awful at deciphering gouldian gender by vocalizations. Male and female sound so similar to me.

I also got a rare moment with Clara and Avery, the parents, out of the nest so I popped my candling light in there and it seems we have 2 fertile, 1 possible, 2 clear. So that made me happy. I was not loving the idea of 5 babies in a back-to-back clutch of 3. So I'm happy it's a smaller number.

Normally my male juvenile gouldians start to sing at very early age before their first molt.
