My Finches Life and History

So, I haven't said much about my finches so, I'll give an update. I have a 40'',50'',72'' flight cage that houses 2 zebras 1 male and 1 female named Hansel and Grettle. I also have 5 society finches named Rayne, Snow, Bonnie, Jeckle, and Hide. Hansel and Grettle were the bosses of the place moment I put all the finches in together. They would chase the others immediately to establish control as well as take over every nest. Over time, Hansel and Grettle have chosen 1 nest. The large wicker basket on the top corner of the live 6 foot crab apple tree inside the flight cage. Grettle is now nesting and Hansel is on watch duty everyday while he carries decent sized millet branches into the nest from the bottle of the flight cage. My guess is the pair has no intentions of leaving the nest when there young hatch. Dispite the territorial conflicts. Jeckle, Bonnie, and Hide are now in a nest. Hide is always getting nest materials. Seems like they will be breeding soon. Dispite the pecking order established there is little aggression unless the societies are on the top right side of the flight cage near the zebras nest. If that happens, Hansel and Grettle dart out and chase them away. Snow from the moment he entered the flight cage has been a hopeless romantic. He makes me think of the roster in the morning waking everyone up as he tries to court Rayne with very little avail. Rayne peeps every now and then to Snow but shows little interest. Other than that, every morning around 8 am and 6 pm All 7 of the finches, dispite the ones nesting, fly down to the 2 inch depth 9" radius bird bath. and all flap there wings inside peeping and playing with one another. This goes on about 30 minutes until, our cat Baxter attempts to scale the flight cage while the finches laugh at him when I spray him with a water bottle or worse....... The Bath. So that's some history on my birds if you want to know anything else please tell me and I will update it.
