Congrats on your goldbreasts! They are so cute.
I just took out four babies that weaned and put them into a juvenile flight to color up with a couple from a previous clutch. I noticed today that there are three more eggs in the nest, so here goes round 3.

When I bought the Gold breasts I was told by the breeder that they breed worse than zebras....i was pretty happy about that because out of all of my beauties, the GB are actually my favourite.
So, for over a year now and no babies, i had given up, only to find a nest with eggs and then 6 fledge. So, here is hoping we get a few more. They are so damn cute aren't they !!!

Mine took about nine months to get down to business, so I'm not surprised by that. I guess once they decide to, they go for it.
One thing I would suggest is to make sure you don't have any spaces larger than 1/2", because they WILL escape if given half a chance. I had to put screening over my whole flight because they could still squeeze through the 1/2" bars.

Those babies are
tiny.
