S FLORIDIAN LOOKING TO TRADE

I would like to find someone in the South Florida area that is willing to trade 1 male and 1 female Lady Gouldian Finches. They were born in January and are currently feathering up. The male will be a red head and the female will be black headed. Anyone?????

Where do you live? I have some baby goulds,they havent got there full molt in yet but are getting close.[I think?] They fledged in early feb.I have three. I have four more that fledged in early june.

I live in Broward County near Ft Lauderdale. How far is that from you? :D

I think thats too far,I am just west of tampa on the west coast. Someone on the forum suggested to call a local avian vet to see if they know any breeders in your area,I'll bet there is one close to you if you can find them good luck. BCAMP

TRADING MY GOULDS

I am in Fort Myers/Cape Coral area.

I have a male and a female that were born at the end of January. They are currently molting and getting their colors. The male will be a normal red head and the female will be a normal black head. They seem to be taking a long time coloring up.

Interesting to mention...they come from a clutch of 5 that had 2 yellowbacks. I am keeping the one, and the other died in the nest. The 5th juvenile has lots and lots of blue on him....but I believe he is normal also.
