It is really hot out here

It is really hot out here. The temperature is about 33 Celsius and the chicks looks like they are trying to climb out of the nests to cool down. Two of my Diamond sparrow chicks decided it is too hot to share a nest with 3 siblings and decided to fledge.

33 is Hot, it's only about 6 celsius here today

Looks like your having a good season with plenty of chicks

Lol, that canary chick looks like it is ready to pass out! I really hope we don't hit the 40's. The poor birds just sit there with their beaks open and heavy breathing :(

Our canary's love to get sprayed with the hose pipe and come to the front of the aviary when they see us watering - it is super cute :)

Rox My canary hen takes a bath and then tries to cool down the chicks. My condolences, Padraic, I feel for you. 6 Celsius is that your daytime temp? What is your lowest? Yes my birds are not breeding badly. The only pair that are not currently breeding is my 2nd pair of gouldians.
