Hi everybody,

So yesterday I went to the wordshow for birds, Rosmalen. most of the visitors were 50+ males however so I kind of stood out. There were all the species I could imagine and some I couldn't imagine. But about 75% were canaries, only a very small section was designated for the tropical finches.

I love bird shows. Sadly we don't really have big shows over here.
Some cute looking Canaries, but some of those type critters, look like someone pulled them through a hedge backwards and put them through a garlic press. Why do people do these things to these poor birds.

I know exactly what you mean, I only looked at the raza espagnolas, german crested, lizard and the colorbred canaries, I didn't even wanted to look at the ones you mentioned. But I had a fun day after all, I picked up some nice cages and was looking for some birds but couldn't find the right species.

Bird Shows, are always fun.

We have a tiny Bird Club here in Calgary. Last Sumner we had a picnic/get together/bird show, and it was absolutely awesome. We had so much fun, chatting, eating, looking at birds, buying birds, even had a little silent auction. Supposed to have the same this coming Summer , and I'm already looking forward to it.
