18 March (Two weeks sitting first hatch today.)

Am really happy to see the tiny finger nail size earthling. They are SPOT ON THE DAY as I marked in my diary, spot on accurate.

I see 6 are sat on, one egg is at the door, so will leave it as it is, this afternoon one was trying to get out the shell, tonight after 6 I will take a few nest cam pics, I am going to farm tom till Sunday - so will see then what has happened, the bird sitter will be here I am so happy for the family, very happy today

Pictures, the lady and the one baby, the other must still be under the one egg trying to get out, I cannot take good nest cam pics at night as the light is bad and I don't want to turn up the dimmer to much - I don't want to scare her.

I'm a newbie to the hobby and doing the same (keeping a journal). My hen has laid six eggs and on the 11th day of incubation.

Nicci_M welcome, and good luck to you, you will find great folks ready to help here, I hope my times above in the opening thread will assist you in your breeding also - give your birds egg food, cucumber and a good long flight path for healthy stimulation, cuttle fish and you are good to go.

Been away at the farm and far from on top of things, here is a nest cam pic of a baby.
