Finally got a Female Pied Zebra! She is so cute. Almond likes her which is a plus! Here they are.

She's very pretty!

She is not a pied but a CFW (Chestnut flanked white), CFW hens can have some black flecking on the top of the head... it eventually molts out. She is young. some hens retain some of the black flecking. When CFW babies fledge the hens have more black flecking over the top of the head and down the back of the head. Males have little to none.

A pied bird generally looses all the color around the face including tears and the body also looses all color.

I wasn't too sure! She was hatched on april 2nd so she is super young! Either way, I do not mind at all what she is and I dont think little Almond cares either! haha

I find finch genetics confusing. But I think your birds are adorable.
