All the gouldians are molting and nobody is looking particularly dapper. However what their lacking in looks they have made up in song. 5 of the gouldians are male, two adults and 3 juveniles. All 5 try to outdo each other in song. It's like a tiny choir, such a pretty sound in the background. I love the fact that they can sing their little heart's out and it's never grating or loud.

They look good!! All three of my males have just finished their moults and they're always singing.

Some of the finches are worse than others. This guy had me worried last week loosing so many feathers around his neck but I see new pin feathers coming in thankfully. I haven't gone through a molt with them so it's a learning experience for me. The other finches are in a more gradual molt.

Your pics are really nice. What beautiful birds you have. I also second the comment that they look very good for a molt. Hearing my Gouldians sing is very enjoyable. It's far less intrusive than when my cockatiels sing.

Really cute pics of their choir practice!
It's like you can see the juveniles learning how to sing from the senior Gouldians
