Two beautiful new additions yesterday

Was in the local parrot breeders shop yesterday looking around and behold, he had a cage with a few beautiful healthy looking finches. They were plump little beeps and you could tell that they needed to get some exercise. So who could resist? I bought them and they settled in very well. Black Cheek male and a Chestnut flanked female. They are both so tame. I couldn't get over it, when I open the door to do anything in the cage, they come right over on the perch and look at me like, what ya got for us! Obviously they were well taken care of and possibly hand raised.

Was definitely a lucky get and I'm glad I stopped in the shop before they got scooped up by someone else.

Looks like they are having a blast in their new flight cage. I have those same cages! They are wonderful for a pair of birds! Look at all that room they have now!
