In August of this year, I brought home two young Gouldians. I named them Spirit and Scout.
When I first got them, I believed that they were two boys, but later came to believe, that Scout, was indeed a boy, while Spirit appeared to be a girl.
Over the last couple of months, Scout has began coloring up, into a RH/PB/GB boy. He listens avidly to the other males singing, has began to sing on his own, and is practicing his hopping dance while singing.
Spirit, on the other hand (who is a pale white/yellow, with what appears to be a a very pale purple (?) Breast, head colour as yet unknown), hasn't had much to say. A quiet sweet little bird, loves to eat and swing and has kept more or less to 'her'self.
Now today, out of no where, there was Spirit, hopping up and down on a perch (with the other Gouldi's watching with approval). There was no song involved, but there was hopping and beak wiping.
Now what do you Gouldian folk, make out of that

Is Spirit, a girl (who just likes to dance)?
Or, is Spirit a boy (without a song
)?
