Beautiful aviary.

How long have you been breeding birds? What made you decide on Gouldians, or have you always bred Gouldians?

Hi,
Very well built aviary but I'm wondering what kind of predators require such heavy double protection in the Philippines?

I used 1/2 " welded wire, galvanized and painted black so the birds are more visible.

Here we have neighbor dogs, cats, hawks, turkey vultures, snakes, rodents, racoons, owls and opossums and none can get in.

The wire parts are buried 12" and the back wall has an 8" concrete foundation.

Besides finches and canaries one of my favorites is a very rare pair of domestic bred Luzon Doves native to the Philippines.
