I don't know if dad's a tosser or they were dead in the shell or both?

Not just tossed, but looks like they were mutilated. Are they new parents? I had a bird that did this exact thing, and next season was the perfect parent.

Yes, 2015's and first timers.
I tried to put the hen with 2014 yellow back male, but she would have nothing to do with him. She wanted this boy, so I let them have at her!
Same thing happened a few years ago with a red headed male. Second time in the same season he was fine. Go figure?

They look like fully developed chicks, not dead in the shell. Must be killed and tossed by dad.

I will let them go at it again. They are both healthy. But next time, just before the babies are about to hatch I will put divider and not let the male near the babies till they are a week old. Then they are to big to toss.
