I'm BUSTED!...by a blind finch

Post by Babs _Owner » Tue Sep 13, 2016 8:57 am

Seems I can't get away with being a "creeper" and trying to sneak a video of Midget hilariously trying to fashion a nest we placed in his cage days ago. We put in some nesting materials for him. He finally discovered it yesterday and I was trying to get a video of him slinging around the materials intent on making a nest, but pretty much making a funny mess.

This is his reaction to my intrusion. (His memorization of where his perches are blows my mind).

Bless his heart, I couldnt keep from laughing. I'm apparently a big failure at trying to be a creeper.

I cant even creep on a blind finch...... L-)

Hahaha. :-B He wasnt messin' around. :-L He caught me when I started giggling while pulling up the camera. He followed my voice. I wish I could have gotten film on him making a HOT MESS out of that nest. Just throwing stuff all over the place. :))

Give him a Gouldian lady..... (just a tiny whisper floating on the Autumn winds that rustle through the falling leaves....)

Bubba tracked leaves in front door. hahaha I kindly told him to take my girly's leaves and place them gently in a wish jar. Gads he's clumbsy!

Only hen I have not set up to breed is Hammy and she's with Merlin
She would literally kick the snot out of the poor Midget. She goes after anything and everyone except Merlin. We might have to wait for next season for that arrangement. :(

Babs, I love this boy! Midge is amazing. You need to try and sneak up on him so we can see his "nest building"   He's so entertaining!

GouldieFledge

He has "completed" his nest. Which means, he dumped everything out and emptied onto the floor. :)) Now he tugs manically on the sides of the inside of it looking for more nesting materials (which of course are no longer there).

Ill try and get a video when I refill it will fiber.
