And we are back...

It seems that we aren't going to be able to move away from where we are at the moment due to my mum's poor health. But on the upside, it seems that my dad is slowly getting better
Which means that I am going to be making some modifications to our #1 aviary and we are going to be getting some more finches. We are probably going to get some Zebs and look at getting some different varieties later one

So sorry to hear your mum's health is not good, but isn't that great that your dad is getting better.

It is good, but I think that it's just a bounce from the chemo that almost killed him a few months back. When he gets back, we will find out how he really is.
And in the meantime, we now have 5 pairs of zebs

Good too see you back. Sorry about your parents. You are a good son to be looking after them so well.

Just looking at our new zebs, 2 of them are missing a foot
I don't think that this should cause them too much of an issue really.

my dad is slowly getting better
Slowly is the operative word here. I survived chemo
given in summer of 2014. I took over a year to mostly get over it and another 6 months before I felt like I had fully recovered. Now 2 years since the last poison dose and tumor-free.

paul-inAZ I should have phrased that a little differently... my dad has stage 4 cancer, he got put on an aggressive course of chemo that gave him neutropenia and nearly killed him. He isn't really getting better, but considering where he was, and the fact he can't control the cancer with more chemo, he is much improved over where he was.
The finches are going to give him something to look at and listen to of an evenings
