Four of our 8 birds arrived this morning - 2 male red billed firefinches and 2 male owls. We are absolutely enchanted!

And suddenly, my husband and I have fallen ill with a malady that is endemic to this board. Finch fever. It's been less than 12 hours since the birds arrived, and we've already ordered a second F030 - and another male pair of birds.

Congrats on your new birds! Great choice of birds. Isn't it exciting to get new birds? I'm afraid you and your hubby are doomed....there is no cure. The only way to live with this dreaded, contagious disease is to share your "suffering" with the rest of us poor, sick souls so we can make it through another day.....sometimes trolling through pet stores, online stores, gawking at bird photos on the internet and drooling.....it's a pretty pathetic illness...

Think of all the folks who will go to the ends of the earth for a stamp, a little toy car, or a Barbie doll collectable.

I prefer my type of obsession, alive, and singing, and absolutely lovely.

What a lovely cage setup, I'd love to see the whole thing.
