Holy Crow,

Good grief, now I'm booking Finches ahead of time.

I was e-mailing with one of my favorite breeders in the world, who lives up in Edmonton (about three and a half hours from me).

She'll be coming down to Calgary in August, for Feather Fest. Well.... I sort of booked a pair of her gorgeous Forbes Parrot Finches..... for her to bring down for me.

I think I need an intervention folks.
You all can come and intervent me, lol.

I can't help with the intervention. You're barking up the wrong tree girlie. I'm putting on my horns, pulling out my sword and yelling CHARGE!!! GET THOSE BIRDIES!!

While we ride in together, I'll ask "What else does she got??"

BTW They are gorgeous. Look at that cobalt blue.

Can't help with an intervention, we are all addicted, but I'm glad to see you getting this pair! Those are beautiful birds and not readily available.

Congratulations, those birds are stunning! I've always wanted a pair of them.

Lvly birds! Go for it! My parrot finch is a joy. He is always rdy to greet me and has such a joyous trill.

Jean, is a wonderful breeder, and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a top grade breeder, with top grade birds.

Did I mention the breeding pair of Linnies, that Kevin is looking to sell???
Or the three baby Canary singletons that might be coming my way..... as parents are feeding poorly.....

lovezebs - Oh my, Elana, those are gorgeous! I haven't seen them for sale around here (red- and blue-faced, yes; Forbes, not). I will not help you by trying to discourage you. In fact, I would buy a pair from her myself, if I didn't live thousands of miles away. But I do have relatives (if they are still alive) in Saskatoon. Don't you think it's time I connected with them and met them?
BTW, Louise also has blue caps available year round. I could get a little lady for my lonely Francois at the same time.
