I had several of them, but sadly they were already older when I got them and they aged out and passed away, with only one baby surviving from the 2 that were hatched some years back.

They had dark eyes, with just a hint of very very dark red, that would only show in certain lighting.

Interesting about the eyes. I thought fawns were also supposed to have red eyes, but my fledgelings seem to have dark eyes, while the sister double-factor fawn pieds had more obvious red eyes.

Not sure about the Fawns.

The only Fawns I have, are pied with dark eyes.

The darker fawn started singing today, so I guess he's male.

Hi these are the same as the two I’ve just bought and there eyes are black aswell but usually they look red I thought the same think

It turns out that Summer and Floopy are male, as well. From what I can tell, at least one of them is attempting to mimic Laser's song, though the subsong makes it a bit difficult to tell.

Both of the fawns are molting and looking a bit rough, but at least they grew their tails back. The few chest feathers Floopy moulted in have nice patterning; he might be something worth showing in a few months.
