OK, I get it!
Well, now....I have acquired 2 little society finches. Have had them for about a month. Bed Head (crested) and Bed Buddy. Who knew? ( well, you all knew!) They are so neat! Personality plus! I have introduced them into the china cabinet aviary now. No problemo! Peace in the land. These guys are sweet! Both have a very different, cool song. (they must both be male. please tell me they are both male) I would have never gotten the bug if not for you all. Thanks!

Singing females are rare, so they are almost definitely both male. It's particularly interesting to see the interactions between four or more birds; some think they're the boss, while others are about as easy-going as it gets. Often one of the males is dominant and will sing more frequently, while the others are content with being more quiet. Have you got any photos of them?
