It still hurts if I touch it and it just closed up a couple of days ago, that's why Kind Of :D
Had to get that window done because you know our winters. I already had the furnace running this week. It's been like 1-2degrees during the night

Progress
My hand is kind of better. I was able to install my last window in the house finally. It took me longer but is done....
and after that I jumped to my cage.
Finished skinning it with plywood and mdf and sprayed first layer of paint. I have this sky blue and white and tried the sky blue. I think I like it. Hopefully tomorrow will have some time to paint the whole cage.

Even with that sore hand you have been busy! Glad you aren't letting it stop you. Looks like you are almost finished with the breeder's set up! Looking good!

Thanks mate. I've been looking for those here in Canada for a long time now. They are wild caught though so it'll take some time to adapt in cages. Hopefully won't have any loss.

Thanks Elana! I'm really pumped :x

I had some more time for a second layer of paint today. It takes several layers of paint when spray painting because the paint needs to be thinner for the paint gun to work properly.

Just finished

Thanks Elana.
All is left from the cage is the wires and doors , plus the food dish doors. I'm going to make them with a spot welder, just like the commercial ones.
Here is one I made today and I think it looks good

For the goldfinches I got them from Aves Canada in Toronto. Still waiting for another 2 pairs from Exotic Wings. Hopefully will get them soon
