Mousebirds in my backyard
I took some pictures of mousebirds in my backyard yesterday. They eat granadilla leaves and apricot blossoms.

I love these guys Marius.
You're so lucky to have them running around your back yard.
I think it was Monique who first mentioned them, prior to which I had never heard of them before.

lovezebs@Babs Yes, Babs they do a have bit of a Mohawk. And Babs keep a careful eye on Irma. I hear she is a bit of a B!tc#. Elana, my granadilla bush does not feel so lucky, sometimes they eat off almost half of the leaves, but I don't begrudge them that. They climb around in the trees like little acrobats. Sometimes they are upside down, or hanging on by one leg.

I just bet that they are fun to watch, even if they do eat the leaves off your bush, lol. Can always grow another bush, right?

lovezebs Correct. I don't eat the apricot and guava fruit either. I leave it for the mousebirds.

I'd fight them for the apricots, lol. I love them, and they are always expensive here.
