lovezebs - ha ha, that was my first thought as well. I know that they have amazing bird marts and juried shows all over Germany each fall but that seems a little far to go.

lovezebs - Good morning Elana! I would also love to go, especially to one of the really big ones. They start with local shows, then regional, national and finally international. Unfortunately I hate cold weather and always go to Europe during the summer months.
I just checked your weather forecast: the high for next Tuesday is -7C! For Carlsbad they are predicting 24C for Tuesday and 30C for Wednesday. Talk about extremes! Yours way too cold, ours way too warm for this time of year (but right now it's only 13 C).
