Trying my hand at graphic design

I said I'd think about making a logo for a local Audubon chapter around a year ago, so I drew two on paper, but didn't know how to make them into a vector:

Last week I finally got around to it, and learned how to use the pen tool in Photoshop; now I should be able to open the Photoshop file and enlarge the image without it losing quality. (Though I think I messed up and forgot to put shape vector masks over each layer, but that shouldn't take too long to fix.)

I also made a meme template from a photo of one of my finches:

Now I'm working on making a fullbody of a gouldian finch from one of my photos.

Once I got over the annoying part where I didn't know how anything worked it was quite enjoyable. It's a pretty good way to chill out while listening to music.

That'd be good! I imagine it would be difficult without a drawing or photograph to "trace" the outline, but you've probably got loads of photos of your birds that would work well.

Icearstorm if you ever need a certain photo of a bird I’m sure you can put a post and u will have loads haha
