Finch sharpening beak

So the last week maybe week before I was spending time each day looking at individual birds and catching them and looking at their feet beaks etc

Anyway one of my society hens has been sharpening her beak on the mesh from the breeding cages and her beak has become really sharp like a blade and when I held her she actually bit me and caused a cut so you think the other birds will copy lol I don’t want a numerous of little cuts across my hands
