Price of Java rice finches

Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering how much Javas go for. What would you expect to pay for a normal, how much for a white one?

I have not seen many javas, but everything I have seen sells at about $20-25 for normals and whites. Keep in mind everything I have seen sold, which means it is what people will pay, not what someone listed them for.

I paid $30 for my most recent hen, but before her, I had never seen them below $60 - and they are rare, only coming into stores every few years.

At bird fairs in Florida whites and normals are usually $20. Pet shops, if they have them, $60. Depends on what state they are in too.

Prices on javas vary....I got my pair, a normal and a pied, for $20 each. I've seen whites listed for $60 or more. Fawns are usually around $30-40.

White seems to be the most expensive java finch mutation, and javas in general are hard to find around here.
