The difference between single and double factor gouldians

Post by MariusStegmann » Fri Apr 27, 2018 5:31 am

This picture below is a quick and easy way to show the difference between single and double factor yellow gouldian cocks. The single factor cock has a blue ring around the head, while the double factor has a white ring.

Thanks for the info! Is the single-factor what is called dilute in the states, or is that something different?

Exactly Icearstorm! Single factor is what we call Dilute. Single Factor Purple breasts look different that Single Factor White Breasts. The purple breasted birds look more green, and the White breasts look more yellow.

Huh, that's interesting. I wouldn't have guessed; the normal greenbacks' expressions of greens and blues don't seem dependent on their breast color.

You're right, they don't.
