So I have the 4 java fledglings rapidly growing and I need to know what age they are ready to go to there new homes so I can work out spaces etc and plan my making of the new aviary

When they eat and drink on their own and they no longer beg.

Sheather so they don’t have to get there full colours dirst like gouldians , thanks

37 days always worked for me.

You know it's kind of funny. You can set your watch for 37 days. Every clutch I've ever had, I separated from the parents at 37 days because they stopped feeding the babies. Immediately, the female will start laying again. Anyway that's just the way it works out for me. It might have something to do with the feeding program that I have them on, who knows.

TarponConch Yh my usual is 6 weeks old they start to wean off the parents and I sell on but I was also unsure with Java’s if they needed to colour up first lol, stupid me haha !!
