Can’t they have bread

So today I sold some birds to a woman who’s got a ice aviary and she said they fed them brown bread earlier in the day I’d it okay could u do this

Occasional bread shouldn't hurt them, but it isn't recommended as a regular part of their diet because it tends to be nutrient-poor and provides mostly empty calories. Brown bread or whole-grain bread should be better than white bread as far as nutrients are concerned, though.

Icearstorm well Yh I thought this but it might be nice for a treat I thought because bread swells up in moist it might swell in there tiny stomcachs that’s why I was unsure

I agree with Icearstorm. Mine won't even eat bread. I used to give a small piece to my English Sparrows now and then just to get them used to it. It is an easy way to give medication. Just put a drop on the bread and they eat it. The birds I have now won't touch bread.

The birds can digest bread, so it shouldn't hurt them, provided it isn't moldy.

@wildbird and I didn’t think they would bother either but the woman has mostly my birds I’ve sold a few to her and they was eating it lol
