My spicey's alert call... Do your birds have silly habits?

I have a whistling tea kettle and every time when I heat water to the point that the kettle whistles, my spice finch lets out his alert call. The louder the kettle whistles, the louder and faster he calls! Does anyone else have a bird with a silly habit?
