Oh, no! How are they doing today? What was the diagnosis? Praying your little cuties recover fully. Crazy trying to see an Avian Vet! And then such a huge bill for two little birds? My goodness!

Very pretty birds! It will be worth the price if it helps them. You were lucky the last vet knew something about birds. A lot of those emergency vets don't. It is very hard to find a good avian vet in an emergency. Hopefully, Linnie & Leah will be feeling better soon.

Linnie and Leah, are holding their own (with Linnie presenting me with a rather large egg... her first ever
). Leah, is still breathing too rapidly, but eating and drinking, so that's a good sign.
The diagnosis, was an upper respiratory infection of some sort, with Leah more badly affected than Linnie.
The emergency vet, had the hospital's avian vet to consult with in the back, so that was a plus.
By the way, Linnie weighs in at 58 grams, and Leah is 42 grams..... I always knew Linnie, was a little piggie
