It appears that I should be able to make it to at least one of these shows, so I'm looking forward to it.

I have never been to any bird-judging shows before; are some of the birds for sale after the judging? I would love to pick up a pair of tricolored munias, but that's probably unrealistic. I'd also consider getting a female Euro Black Brown, seeing that it doesn't look like Macbeth and Tacocat are going to do anything anytime soon...
