Update

Post by FinchLover&Breeder » Wed Oct 10, 2018 1:08 pm

Hey guys its me Nick again. Today I come to you with some good news, some bad news, and worse news. The good news is that the baby fledged the nest the other day.
The bad news is that one of the twins Thing One and Thing Two died. I don't know why she died but she did. My family has told me that they will get me a new bird or two to replace the ones that have died.
And the worse news is that I found out my dad has lung cancer. My dad went into the hospital almost three weeks ago on a saturday. He had collapsed that morning and we called an ambulance. They ran some tests and found he has ammonia which has been treated and lung cancer which will be treated. Right now my dad is in rehab getting his strength back from the ammonia that he had. I have been at my sisters house since that saturday. I haven't been home once to see any of my pets. My mom has been feeding them and taking care of them. for me. My life is just a bit of a mess right now.

I can't begin to imagine what you and your family are going through, but my thoughts are with all of you. Take care of yourselves, and stay safe (it looks like Hurricane Michael's going to miss most of Florida, so that's relieving). Wishing everything goes back to normal and settles down soon.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad and wish him the best. It's times like this that we realize how important our health is. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

ok. I went home yesterday for a couple hours and saw my birds. The new baby is adorable. On issue is she can fly and her parents are plucking some of her feathers. What should I do?
