Thanks for sharing this very sad story. Many mystery bird deaths could be due to fumes from our so called modern conveniences. No one knows what effect it has on humans over time either. I hope this post will help save other birds.

Yes, very true.

I think there many things that affect our birds adversely with us not ever realizing it, and you're right, God only knows what kind of harm it does to us as well.

It is a sad story, but it is better to read about it than experience it ourselves.

My birds are doing ok, thanks for asking.

There are a few new additions to the crew , and there were some very sad losses quita a while ago, when I had an outbreak of airsac mites .

Lovezebs: I'm sorry to hear about your loss from airsac mites. Do you find they tend to attack a specific species? How are those Javas doing?

And yeah all going well aprt from loosing my large zen Male and my silver bill chicks but everything else is happy
