My zebra finch, Mouschi, is very picky about his food. I tried to offer him many things; eggs, apple, banana, kiwi, carrot, etc. He pecks at it once if I'm lucky, and ignores it. I tried cutting his treats really thin to look kind of like a lettuce leaf (he loves lettuce), I tried shredding his food, I tried putting some seeds over it, eating the same food in front of him, I did it all.
I just can't seem to get him to eat anything that isn't cucumber or lettuce.
He especially doesn't like egg, which I heard finches like quite a lot.
Any advice?

Make a chop of finely minced mixed greens, including some lettuce and cucumber.
Is he a lone bird?
