My java x Bengal hybrid is fully coloured up now and he looks amazing

Beautiful bird! He has the color of the Society and looks like a Java. Does he sing? Definitely one of a kind!

Interesting; its patterning reminds me more of a spice finch, but the color is obviously society. His eye and tail both look more like a Java's, too.

This might be the only way to save the Java, given Florida law.

Yes it’s really interesting sometimes he is like a society and other times he looks just like a java

The eye is high-set, it looks female, male societies begin singing at 4 weeks and I doubt a hybrid would be much behind.

Sheather I agree with you it still hasn’t sung so I’m guessing it’s female to
