othing I noticed Jarryd is that you have a lot of dowell perches in there. is there any reason that you use dowell more than tree branches

hi mick.

90% of those photo's are old. besides the moulting pics, and some are from my old aviary which had some dowel in it.

the pics where i have them lined up the two skinny perches are Bamboo, only 3 dowl peices in that aviary. Mainly the photo's are of when they happened to be on dowl rather then natural branches. i try to give them a good variety. Heres Hoping to that i have a Good Breeding Season.

Same to you of course. good luck :)

Yes All Purple Breasted!, I promised myself i would only keep normals/greenbacks. but after meeting another breeder i fell into the trap of buying 2 Dilutes, hence the pic of the SFY Hen. I will breed the dilutes again this year, then sell them as I want to concentrate on Normals and White Breasted Birds ONLY!! i have to stick to my plans. il keep the Yellow Hen. it helps break up the color in the aviary. but yeh this season im hoping to bring some white breasted birds into my breeding plans.

nice collection and good for you to sticking with the most natural mutation of the gouldians. The green back/purple breasted are the reason I fell in love with gouldians.
4 gouldians (Devin and Agnes, Jezebel and Rocky), 4 society finches, 2 Zebras, 2 Cordon Bleus
