Just an update

Hi All,
Just wanted to update on everyone. I can't say enough about these societies. They are such a pleasure to watch and take care of. They are always on the move and doing something. They have ate everything I put in the cage. As soon as I set it down they are right there to investigate and try it. They love all kinds of veggies so far. I haven't tried any fruit yet. They also proceeded to take out every peice of nesting material I had in the nest for them. I thought they were adding to it but I looked in one day and it was almost gone? LOL! Anyway, they are now both spending time during the day in the nest. I think they are just resting right now but they sleep on top of it at night. I'm most positive I have a pair as I haven't heard any song from my fawn but she sounds like a cricket when she chirps
I hope soon to see some breeding behavior going on.
As far as my goulds go I think they are definetly starting to molt. I noticed some pin feathers around the neck of the male and they're feathers look a bit ruff so i'm happy it isn't anything else. They seem normal and eating, eating, eating, lol
That's it for now. I've really enjoyed everyone's pics, etc. My daughter just started teething a few weeks ago and hard to get anytime on the computer lately
Talk soon,
Renee
