That's a pretty good price for a proven pair, Will. I payed $100 for two males. Maybe you can grab another pair from someone else so you have unrelated m/f pairs available for sale.

I hear ya, Will. I am getting another pair in October. I'm getting 2 males again...1 fawn and 1 normal. I love the m/m pairs as there's no breeding drama and they can be housed with other species without getting territorial. Maybe down the line I will add 2 females...but initially I am going to breed only my society pair and penguin zebra pair. Suggestion...if I may...grab a fawn male next time around. They are so beautiful and not as available. I am buying mine from Sally's friend in Texas. She is shipping me the male owls and 2 male stars (1 yellow face & 1 red face). I'm also hoping for 2 male BCCB's from another of Sally's friends. Fingers crossed

. My first bird mart id October 5th...I am buying my m/f green singer pair and m/f society pair from Martie. I am not sure what else will grab me there...maybe a waxbill pair??? Hubby is going to be PISSED!!!

Lol! Happy Birthday!!! Your 40th like me???? Or 39th...i forget. They are very pretty...fawn colored with all of the usual markings. You breed fawn and normal...not fawn and fawn. Anyway, it will give you an edge in the owl market, plus it will be exciting to see what the babies are! Google it to see pics. I have been without my birds for 1 month today...I'm DYING to buy more birds. I hope I don't make a scene tackling people at the October bird mart. I'm not making any promises...
