Looking for Gold-Breasted Waxbills

Post by Sunbay » Tue Nov 05, 2013 12:04 pm

Hi,

I am interested in purchasing a pair of Gold-Breasted Waxbills [i(]Amandava subflava)[/i]

I am in NE Florida, but driving up to Maryland soon. (I95, then headed to the MD peninsula SOUTH of Richmond/DC).

Love these little guys! I wonder why I don't see more of them? They are simply stunning!

Thanks,

Lauren

Murad of Maryland Exotic Birds in Pasadena, MD has them. $35 each, I believe.

If you're ever in Central Florida, stop by the exotic bird show that are held at the fairgrounds every few months. (One coming up this January) I picked up a healthy pair for 30$ from a show earlier this year.
