Owl finches for sale - North Texas

I have some NFSS 2015 closed banded owl finches that I am offering for sale. I am still in the process of sexing them, but I think I have mostly hens. The males will be split to fawn. These birds are all related. No shipping at this time, but I will be at the Cleburne show this weekend and can bring them along. Some will be showing. Asking $80 each.

I will be going to the Temple show, so if you two want to work out a deal, I could pick up the Owl hen from Helen and take it to Temple with me. Better yet, if we could convince Helen to show at Temple, she could bring the bird herself!

Even better yet, you (SeaChelle) could show your great little Owl at Temple, and bring along a hen for LINDAANNEH!

LINDAANNEH If I wind up being the one to bring a hen to Temple, you can find me at the Finch division of the show. It is usually in the far right back corner of the room when you enter through the front doors. I will be the show secretary, so I will be at the table just to the side of the judging benches, the one that will have ribbons on it. I will be busy during the judging, but we usually take a break around lunch time, and we could do the swap at that time. You might want to watch some of the judging anyway, as it is very informative as to what constitutes a good bird.

Of course, if SeaChelle or Helen decide to come to the show, they can take care of this at any time.

I reeeeally wish I could make it to the show, but I just got deployed to Austin for a work exercise that week. I'm leaving this Sunday, so I may be able to bring a hen to Austin with me though. I have a little travel cage and hopefully she won't stress too badly on the drive.

If it's easier to pick the hen up at the Temple show, we can work out something like Sally mentioned.

SeaChelle@LINDAANNEH She should be fine in a small travel cage, as long as she has water and food/spray millet. With both of you in Austin, it should work. If not, I can be the Plan B.

I'm going to get the bird tonight from Helen. SeaChelle will bring it to Helen's. See you tomorrow at Temple. We'll have to wait for the lunch break or the show to be over, as I am secretary for the finch division and can't leave my desk.
