A pair of Red-faced Star finches. Male and female. Aprox. 18 months old. Will sell only as a pair because they are bonded. They lay eggs all the time but so far the eggs have not been fertile so I wouldn't buy them if you are looking to breed them. They are friendly, inquisitive, healthy birds and eat everything - mixed finch seed, egg food, sprouted food, egg food, etc.
Looking to sell to have more space to concentrate on the species we are breeding.
No shipping. Pick up only in Haverhill, Ma.
Pics attached were taken last year. At the moment they are in a large flight cage and taking pics would be difficult, but could be done if needed.
$40 each, $80 for the pair, PM if interested or if you have any questions

Thanks Barbara. They are very sweet birds and get along well with all our birds. I wish we had more room for them.Barbara wrote: a_gouldian wish I could take them, but not sure where I would put them, best of luck finding them a home. They are very pretty.

a_gouldian thats always the problem,I finally have everyone in the right combination where they are geting along great and everytime I decide to get something I run across I have to rack my brains where to put them after quartine, now there is peace in all my cages no breeding so no overcrowding and tempers flaring. It makes me try to tell myself "NO MORE" then I see someting like what you are posting and it is sooooo very hard.I very seldom see different finches around so yours are very tempting.

I incorrectly put the price at $40 for the pair. It is supposed to be $40 each, $80 pair. Sorry about that. I sent a PM to a moderator to delete this post.
