Parrotlets are cool too! They can talk but mostly males. I'll attach some pictures of Bella.

Re: Wanting to rescue in Pennsylvania
CommaHolly I just posted pictures of Bella the parrotlet...an Lady. I have videos of Jo Jo and they're not loading. My son's coming over tomorrow. I will have him try to figure it out. I'm so bad with the computer and this program Flip Share. Makes me crazy. I tried to make "stills" or snapshots off the videos...and when I did, I no longer have the videos in the file. Now I'm scared to death they're gone. I don't want to touch them until my son...Justin...same name
looks at it. I really want to upload the videos too because his...twerking and him flirting with the "bag bird" is a really funny!

You wrote test?? Whats that haha im a mess as well. Beautiful parrolet! Ive always wanted one. But dont wanna over do myself. Last time i had birds i had way to many haha. I couldnt gove all of them my personal time. So when i start back i have to learn to moderate myself haha which is sooo hard to do

Re: Wanting to rescue in Pennsylvania
Goodness gracious! I have no idea what "test" is and I try to proof read. I'm trying to do too much at one time. I was writing to her...and you at the same time...and didn't separate the posts. There, I think I have it.
I know what you mean. Sometimes I get overwhelmed and then I part with some birds, and then...they come back again...somehow. Start with what you really want so you can enjoy them. And thanks!

Re: Wanting to rescue in Pennsylvania
awwwwwwwwwwwww what a cute little birdy
(Bella the parrotlet)
Years ago, I had a gray cheeked parakeet,,,,,,,basically a tiny parrot, tame (as I remember correctly) almost right out of the trees,,,,,,sweet little thing,,,,,,,unfortunately, we had a house fire,,,,,,it's not a pretty picture. I did enjoy it, but I really REALLY enjoy my finches,,,,,mostly because I don't have to entertain them,,,,,,I just watch them and listen to them chirp
sigh, I can't sleep,,,,,,,every now and again, I get myself into a no sleep rut, and it's making me CRAZY because it appears to have started again.

Oh that's so sad about the house fire...losing your little birdie. We are twins. I didn't lose a birdie, but we sure did have house fires growing up. Goodness! Finches are the most amazing little bird. I really can't imagine my life without them! Such joyful little things! I have to pm you...about the sleep thing.

Yes...it's hard losing finches, but I think even harder losing larger birds like grey cheeked parakeet because they interact with you.
To post a picture you have to press "Postreply" and then write your message in that box. The image box will come up below. It will bring you to where ever your images are stored. You then put them "online" and then submit the text and the image.
