Annual Bird Show and Sale, October 11-13,
Bellevue Community Hall

Our Judges:
Reg Nixon: Type and color bred Canaries
Sandi Cameron: Finch and Hookbills
Jim Bertrand: Budgerigars

Local exhibitors must enter their birds for judging on Friday night from 6 – 9 pm. Out of towners may enter their birds on Saturday morning from 8 – 8:45 am.
Judging will begin at 9:00 am sharp on Saturday.

Show Hall is open to the public from 12 – 5 pm on Saturday and 9 – 3 pm on Sunday.

Many birds will be for sale from Alberta breeders, plus cages and breeder supplies for sale.
Admission $5

Thanks Lauren! I have taken on more responsibility with the show this year... I've merely been a spectator in previous years, but this time I am helping set up the show for judging, sales, and will have my own booth set up to sell some of my birds. Jumping in with both feet this time!

Isn't Edmonton wonderful?! I can't wait until I live there!

I actually haven't done much this year, but in the process of gearing up again. Powerwashing cages, new pairings, etc. Lots of work!

Waxbill lover: i am curious as to what time the bird sale starts? Is it on sunday or after the judging on saturday at 12:00?

Thanks and also i am super excited about the show this year, i went last year and it was very very fun! I am planning on buying a lot of finches to start a little collection...any idea if they will have diamond firetails at all? They habe been on my hotlist for a while but i strongly dislike buying from a pet store where age is unknown and health is very unkown lol

The sale portion starts at 1200 saturday. I don't know what types of birds other people are bringing. I am bringing gouldians, owls, and societies. I'm sure there will be some other booths where people are selling some different types of birds.

what table will you be at? and sure i will deffinitely come by and say hi, maybe even buy a gouldian or 2, do finch forum members get any special discounts ?

No idea what table I'll be at. I will have my signs up. For my gouldians I won't budge on the price at $75 each, because thats VERY reasonable price for gouldians. Others at the show will be charging the same. Its pretty much the going rate.
I do not have pairs of owls. I have 3 young birds, 1 male for sure, and 2 unknowns. They are all related. $90/each. May drop the price on them, depending on how the sale goes.

Hey i was only joking about the price you know, $75 is very reasonable, i do not expect any special deals, just a joke. Also if i can find someone else who can give me a definite female i may be interested in the male.
