New member looking for local breeders Springfield IL

I am new to this site, I live in Springfield Illinois ( IL ) . I have 6 finches 3 males and 3 females. I would like to start breeding them as they have been in the past . Would like to find others that are local who would like to sell or trade so that I can have different breeds and colors.

Welcome to the forum, Wayne! There's lots of good reading at the Finch Information Center, linked at left, and the members are always ready to answer questions. There are quite a few members on here with Zebras, hope you can fine someone in your area.

I am looking for any type it don't have to be zebra , I think I have both zebra and society now but I am not 100% sure.

Well, although I have 2 male Gouldians for sale, I'm about 5 HOURS from you. There is a forum member in Indianapolis who would be closer to you; I'm sure we have some in Illinois too. Good luck

If you are on facebook this is a bird group that has a few members that breed and raise zebras, societies and other species in your area. They are also vendors at the local bird marts.

Hi Wayne, welcome! Rats, I wish I had seen this earlier, because the Illini Bird Fanciers just held their fall bird fair in Springfield on Sunday, 3 days ago. Did you happen to catch that?
You can still google them, and their website has a page for their vendors, so that may give you some leads.
