Off-topic, but I hope you aren't giving up on your Strawberry finches! We need all the people we can get to work with this species so that it doesn't return to the 'crisis' level it was at before. The consensus at a NFSS meeting was that this could happen very easily, as people will be complacent now that so many were imported.

wish i wouldve seen this sooner. i wouldve loved to get the strawberries. i have a pair now but the male is too old. I have noticed them both going in a nest the past few days but i doubt anything will come of it.
