The breeder is in Carthage, Tx and is willing to sell all four birds for $200 which seems a steal of a deal to me. That's about a three hour drive for me, but I wondered if anyone in the Eaat Texas/DFW area might want to go in with me for them as I certainly don't need all four and would have to find mates for them too. Feel free to PM me if you're interested.

Here are pictures the seller emailed me and some information on the birds he gave me. Not sure what a white-rumped owl is? I'm assuming normal. lol

The owl finch is a white rump, 2 years old.

The blue head/ purple breast /dilute back, age unknow, he came with a female and they raised some babies for me, but the female die for unknown reason.

The white head / yellow back, is 8 months old. Is the offspring of the blue head.

The red headed /purple breast /normal back is 2 years old.

What do y'all think?

Owls can be either white rump or black rump

I see a Black Head Purple Breast SF Yellow male (not Blue Head)
The "white head" is genetically a Black Head but appears visually white on a yellow body gouldian.
The RH.WB.Nb in the seed dish has a funky looking beak.

They look beautiful. Two years is great age for breeding owls. They look healthy.

I love the yellow/white male. He's gorgeous. I assume the black head male is the father of the yellow/white male. And your right Debbie. The male in the dish was my least favorite. He is offering all four for $200 I just don't have the space or need for all four of them right now. (Or the money til financial aid comes in next month. lol) That's why I was hoping someone else might need some new bloodlines.

The seller and I are still chatting so I'm hoping to find out more about them.

Well I did get all four birds as well as four female zebras from Dutch/English bloodlines. I'll add pics in another thread.
