I am looking to get a pair of owl finches. I live in Frederick County Maryland. I could travel up to 50 miles. Thank you. Gail

3 zebra finches, 13 society finches (5 currently babies), 1 rescue wienerdog, 1 rescue chihuahua, 1 rescue lab/? from North Carolina, 4 cats, 6 gerbils, 2 hamsters, 1 beta and neon tetras, guppies, mollies, otocinclus, snails..I think that's it.
3 zebra finches, 13 society finches (5 currently babies), 1 rescue wienerdog, 1 rescue chihuahua, 1 rescue lab/? from North Carolina, 4 cats, 6 gerbils, 2 hamsters, 1 beta and neon tetras, guppies, mollies, otocinclus, snails..I think that's it.

A shame we can't get any Owl finches here in the Chicago area. Only way to get most finches is to have them shipped.

Our mart will be in Cleburne on May 17, and Deborah has a table there. There will be other finch vendors as well. If you go to Austin, then drive straight up I35, Cleburne is on Highway 67, west of I35W. Great day trip, Joshua! Sorry for the hijack, gailj.

Gail, I believe Nixity still has some owls available in Pasadena. I'm going this weekend to pick up a pair. Also, this is a hike, but I'm pretty sure Stewart's Bird Farm in PA has owls at I think $60 a piece. I made the trip up there today for a pair of red factor canaries but he ended up being sold out of red factor makes so I picked up a pair of shaft tails and a pair of cinnamon Javas instead. It's a really cool place. I'd heard mixed reviews about it but it was SUPER clean and the birds all seemed healthy. You could also call Murad at MD Exotic Birds. He doesn't have owls right now but his stock seems to change on the reg and if you call him you could ask him to call uou if he gets some in.
