Life has gotten busy and I know the best thing for me to to is downsize on some of the birds that I have.

Please PM me if you are looking for birds and are able to travel to Baltimore, Maryland to pick them up.

I have:

-Star Finches $100/pair
-Black and White Mannikins $50/Pair
-Shaftails - normal hens $20/each fawn hen - $35
-Owls - Most Related ~ $60, 2014 Nfss Banded $80 each
-Red Billed Firefinches - 2 or 3 Year old $120 Pair or Individual 2013/2014 Nfss Banded - $80 each
-Forbes Parrot Finch Hen (1) $80
-Blue Bill Firefinch (1) $50
-Gouldians (Green, Dilute, Yellow, Blue, Pastel, Silver) $60-$130 each most NFSS 2013

I would be willing to meet up to an hour or so outside of Baltimore if you were to get $300 or more in birds.

Gosh birdclaws...I WISH you lived closer to NYC! You ALWAYS have the most GORGEOUS birds and babies!!! I would have LOVED a pair of your gouldians

EDIT!!! Actually, Google says you are only 2 hours and 50 minutes away from me! I know my husband would make a 2 hour drive so that I could purchase birds...I would be interested in a BLUE!!! I also LOVE Goulds with Orange heads. Will you be posting pics?

I'll be moving to Maryland in a few years. My boyfriend is probably happy we aren't there yet. I'd be in trouble. Good luck finding homes. I'd definitely be interested if I was not in Texas.

I do have blues and pastel blue. A couple orange heads too.

I'm going to try to put up some photos soon.

Yes, I'm only selling fully molted birds.

I should also mention since I cannot edit my original post -

All of the blue & pastel gouldians have been claimed, so unless plans fall through, I will not have any others until the summer. I do have one silver hen left, she is $130.

The black and white mannikins have been rehomed.
The shaftails have been rehomed.
I only have related owl finches left.

Update - All of the birds I had available to downsize are now re-homed.


I will continue working with gouldians, owls, and fires, just in smaller numbers. I'm glad I was able to get the numbers down to something more manageable. My amount of time I was spending on my morning routine is now cut in half. It's bittersweet.


There is one thing I could not control - I have a java hen and am getting a male tomorrow. I've been drawn to them since I started with finches and now finally have the space to work with them a little.
