I have a lot of finches available for sale after a productive breeding season:

Society Finches -

Pieds - $10
Crested - $15
Self-colored - $20

There are a lot of combinations of mutations in the Societies available. Pieds are generally Fawn or Chocolate and the Selfs are available in Fawn, Black Grey, Chocolate, and Dilute, possibly Chestnut or Grey. The Crested birds are generally Chocolate or Fawn Pieds. Unless the birds are very young they are sexed and I can offer unrelated pairs to someone who'd like to breed them. Societies also make great foster parents for breeders with species that are harder to get the parents to raise their offspring.

Owl Finches -

Fawns - $100
Fawn/Normal Splits - $80
Normals - $70

These are potentially available as unrelated pairs.

Zebra Finches -

Unfortunately all my zebras are currently sharing a flight so the pairings aren't concrete. But mutations in the flight include Black Cheek, Normal Grey, Florida Silver, Chestnut-flanked White, Fawn, and Silver. There are a couple of Pieds in the flock as well. So offspring available can be any combination of those parents. Great beginner birds or for someone who enjoys them. Once I rest some of my other breeding birds I'll separate the Zebras to better predict color.

All Mutations currently available - $10

Shaft-tails -

Normal - $35

Currently all the Shaft-tails available are related. So if you are looking to breed I'd advise getting a second bloodline from another breeder.

Diamond Doves -

Normal Blue - $20

Occasionally pied or other mutations are available.

Lady Gouldian Finch -

Several mutations (head, back, and breast color) available. Currently I only have uncolored juveniles. I prefer to wait until they've molted into their adult colors before they find new homes. But feel free to contact me in advance. Price depends on mutation.

These birds are for pick-up only as I'm not currently shipping. I'm a ways away from a major airport.

I would love to buy 6 to 8 of your society finches but you are kind of far from me about 2 or 3 hours of drive. I guess you are somewhere near Dallas.

I'm in Commerce which is about an hour North East of Dallas. You can look that up on Google maps to see it that's too far. I'd be willing to meet in the Dallas area if you make a trip up that way. Purchasing that many I wouldn't charge anything extra for delivery. You can pm me for more details if you want.

I also need to find homes for our two sugar gliders. With me and George both in school and our crazy schedules (plus the birds) we just can't take care of them like we should. I'm sad to see them go because they are adorable, but they need to find another home where they'll be loved and well taken care of. They will come with all their supplies (but not the cage as the finches and me have been eyeballing it for months now) and I'll be happy to teach anyone how to care for them.

I also have a eight month old beige male chinchilla, Peeta, who needs a new home. He's driving his mom and Aunty Chinchy crazy. He's super sweet. There are baby pics of him floating around on here in the off-topic section. He was born in November. I'll have two other kits available in a few months too. A beige and a standard grey.

If anyone would be interested in any of them please contact me through pm so we don't clog up this thread with non-bird stuff. I'd be happy to chat with you and see if they would be a good fit in your hom as well as teaching you how to take care of them.

Commerce is about 4 hours of drive and Dallas is about 3 hours of drive. Unfortunately, I am very busy these days but I will let you know if I ever plan to visit Dallas area. Thank you so much for your offer.

You're quite welcome. When it cools off some in the fall I may consider shipping if that's a better option. There are also some great breeders in the DFW area so the visit will be worth while.

I have recently relocated from San Francisco Bay Area to here in Texas. I am planning to visit all birds marts near Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio area in future but these days I have to do so many other things.

Got any continental CFWs?

Currently no. My only CFW hen isn't actually paired with male she's just in the zebra flight. Hopefully I'll be able to pair some of the birds up soon to be able to better predict the offspring. I believe Cindy on here breeds them and she ships so you might want to contact her if you're wanting them soon.

RH PB GB Gouldian hen needs to find a home before she tries my patience anymore. Gorgeous bird, but not to be used for breeding. If anyone wants a beautiful bird just to enjoy their color please let me know. I'd be willing to let her go for $30.

I wished you shipped. I really need an unrelated Society finch pair. I'd pay for shipping and everything in a heartbeat.

I'm looking into it and have several people twisting my arm wanting me to. Shoot me a pm and we can chat. It's been pretty warm in Texas, so I'll probably wait until it cools down just a bit more.
