Hey there! I'm new to the forum and am looking to get a couple of male zebra finches, but I'm having trouble finding breeders or places other than Petsmart/other pet stores in my area.

I've done a lot of reading on zebras, have a giant cage for them already, and have decided to get a pair of boys. If anyone knows of where I might be able to find some, I'd appreciate the help! I am willing to drive a little ways out if necessary.

Can't help you with finding sources, but I wanted to welcome you to the forum! There's lots of good reading at finchinfo.com, where you will find many articles on diet, housing, and especially the Zebra finch. If you put your general location in your profile, it makes it easier to answer locale-specific questions.

Too bad you aren't closer to the east side of Michigan, I have a bunch of extra males I have been wanting to find a new home for.

I sure wish that I was! It's very difficult to find reputable breeders around here (for most animals, actually), and I'd much prefer to get them from a breeder than a pet store!
